  • Salt to taste
Garlic Sauce

  • 1 clove garlic grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
Assembly
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce tomato optional

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Oven
  • Pan
  • Spatula
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Method

  1. Mix mashed sweet potato, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, and spices until a firm mixture forms.
  2. Shape into patties, pressing evenly so they hold together during cooking.
  3. Cook patties in a pan or oven until golden outside and heated through inside.
  4. Mix yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  5. Assemble burgers with buns, patties, sauce, and toppings, layering carefully.
  6. Serve immediately while patties stay crisp and interiors remain soft.

Notes

Cook longer for crispier patties or less for softer texture. Freeze shaped patties before cooking for convenience. Handle gently when flipping. Add spices or toppings for variation. Store refrigerated up to three days and reheat in a pan.
